Reed for English Horn

Details Through my experience as an English horn and Oboe player at the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, it is possible for me to look on the parameters such as choice of wood, color, texture and hardness of the wood. Because depending on the season and region the english horn reed adduced different quality, I choose every year a new selection of a type of wood. For the explanation of the "Intensity" 

soft: light feel, homogeneous and slightly lighter sound. 

medium: medium feel, homogeneous and bright sound 

schwer : hier muss selbst am Rohr nachgeschabt werden
